Inspiration... from a Bridge?
It’s amazing where inspiration comes from. Sometimes from what you see, sometimes from what you think you see.
I often travel from Tampa to St. Pete on The Howard Frankland Bridge across Tampa Bay. Right now there is a lot of construction going on, giving me lots of time to observe things along the way.
These new pieces of sculpture on the bridge are pretty fascinating. Do they move? Are they for measuring wind? Are they sails? Flags? What happens to them during a hurricane? Apparently, they are just nice pieces of art!
Sooo…I got inspired by the multiple layers of points and came up with these earrings. They are a little different from the sculptures on the bridge because they do move and have more layers and points.
These earrings are made from a blue water bottle and other food containers!
