It's Time to Decorate the Tree

I try to wait until the day after Thanksgiving to start my Christmas decorating. I want to enjoy the festive atmosphere as long as I can, but not too early.  Florida CraftArt in St. Petersburg asked their artists to submit creative ornaments, wreaths and holiday inspired items back in July! I made a variety of metal Christmas ornaments shaped like Christmas trees. Some of them have textured blocks of aluminum, copper and brass. Some area stitched together with copper wire. Some of my Rustic Christmas ornament trees are decorated with rivets, brass screw heads, copper washers and see-through holes. They remind me of industrial, steampunk patchwork quilts.
