Eco Friendly Gold/Silver Hoop Earrings are recycled from the parts of discarded Video Cassette Tapes. Stainless Steel Springs are strung on a 14 Karat Gold filled Hoop, forming spiky dangles in the Steam Punk Style. The Hoops are hung from Surgical Steel Ear Wire hooks which are good for sensitive ears. These hoop earrings also make a great gift for movie enthusiasts, as well as gift for environmentalists. The hoop is 1 inch diameter. The complete earring is 2 inces long, which includes the spring dangles. You won't find anything quite like them.

Video Cassettes
There are lots of interesting pieces and parts inside of old Video Cassettes. I created these earrings when a friend gave me bags of parts from VHS tapes that had belonged to her late father. When I presented her with a pair of earrings, she said that part of her Dad lived on in them.
