We are living in interesting times, and with this show, “Frog Day Afternoon”, you will take a step back to a lighter, silly place. Sarah Ruehmann tells a simple story that might bring viewers back to fairytales and fantasy, if only for a little while.
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sarah moved to St. Pete almost three years ago. She has since been enjoying a freedom in her art, which includes metals, painting, drawing, sculpture, tattooing, textiles and glass. This show introduces some digital work as well. “I am an artist that will work in any medium available that I feel will get my message across”.
Sarah’s husband, singer/ songwriter Leon Barickman will perform during the opening. The set list includes several songs that will compliment the art and/ or simply amuse. Stop by for the opening reception to meet Sarah and the other artists of the Gallery. Frog Day Afternoon remains on view through October 12.
